What's new in v2

Transactions, bulk payments, and consent retrieval.

Open Banking v2 is in beta on the sandbox. It is additive: every v1 request works unchanged against v2 once the base path is updated, and v1 stays GA while partners migrate.

New endpoints

Transactions

GET /accounts/{accountId}/transactions returns booked and pending transactions, filterable with from and to, newest first.

Bulk payments

POST /payments/bulk submits up to 500 SEPA credit transfers as one batch from a single debtor account.

Consent retrieval

GET /consents/{consentId} reads a consent’s status, expiry, and the accounts it covers.

Migrating

  1. Point your client at the v2 base path. Existing account, payment, and consent calls need no other change.
  2. Replace transaction polling built on balances with GET /accounts/{accountId}/transactions.
  3. Batch recurring payouts through POST /payments/bulk — a batch is one authorization instead of one per transfer, and status: PART means some transfers were rejected while others settled.

Sandbox keys work against both versions. Production access to v2 is granted per partner agreement while it is in beta.
